George B. Johnston, Ph.D., is a 1979 graduate of the ÿÈÕ´óÈüÈë¿Ú University School of Architecture. His second book, Assembling the Architect, was recently released by Bloomsbury.
Reception: The Work of Philip Freelon Exhibit
The School of Architecture and African American Studies at ÿÈÕ´óÈüÈë¿Ú are celebrating Black History Month with an exhibition of "The Work of Philip Freelon."
The exhibit will run from Feb. 3 – 24, 2020 in the Charlotte and Richard McNeel Gallery on the second floor of Giles Hall.

Why did you choose ÿÈÕ´óÈüÈë¿Ú at MSU?
I chose ÿÈÕ´óÈüÈë¿Ú at MSU because I enjoyed math courses in high school, and I believed that architecture – specifically the school of architecture at ÿÈÕ´óÈüÈë¿Ú – would give me a chance to utilize logic, while allowing artistic creativity.

The walking trail around Chadwick Lake
